The Challengers
You’ve heard a lot about our Nickel City Chefs (and rightfully so!), and now it is time to hear about their challengers!
Challenging Chef Brian Mietus, from Bacchus Wine Bar & Restaurant, will compete with Nickel City Chef Krista Van Wagner in the inaugural Nickel City Chef event on Father’s Day, June 21st.
Challenging Chef Joseph Fenush III will face off with Nickel City Chef JJ Richert on July 19th. Chef Fenush is the Chef de Cuisine at the stunning Park Country Club.
Challenging Chef Bruce Wieszala will see how he matches up against Nickel City Chef Paul Jenkins on August 23rd. Chef Wieszala, is currently the Executive Chef at Verbena.
Challenging Chef Kate Elliott has thrown her hat in the ring against former schoolmate, Nickel City Chef Adam Goetz. Kate has recently opened her own venture, Juniper, Buffalo’s hottest new restaurant, located in the heart of the Elmwood Village.
